Argentina Land Sales is a company that serves both the
Argentine market and the foreign market as well, bringing
together buyers and sellers from all parts of the world.
Through experience, we have arrived a fee schedule for
our daily services that is designed primarily to cover
our expenses over a certain threshold, while also recognizing
that the usual needs of foreign clients differ from
those of our Argentine clients.
Argentina is a big country, and although
the costs from one property viewing trip are not necessarily
significant, the costs do add up over time. We have
therefore set our fees at a reasonable level to compensate
us for our time and expenses, while still allowing the
serious land purchaser ample opportunity to see many
properties without having to feel pressured due to expenses.
For short trips to view properties, those trips under
300 kilometers (about 180 miles) in total length, we
do not charge a fee. For longer trips, we have designed
a simple fee structure to cover our time, costs and
mileage, part of which is normally paid in advance based
upon the expected total of daily fees.
All
of our English speaking clients are accompanied by either
Paul (a resident British citizen with 40 years experience
in Argentina), Deborah ( a resident British Argentine
educated in the USA) or Jamie (our resident Texan),
all of whom are native English speakers. We are more
than happy to meet clients at the airport and arrange
ahead of time for their local lodgings, transportation
and general needs while in Argentina. We are based near
Buenos Aires, but we can meet clients virtually anywhere
in Argentina to view properties. Once we are ”on
the road” looking at properties, which can take
up to a week or so if there are many large properties
of interest, we bill our daily rate of $150 Dollars
per day, plus actual expenses. Keep in mind that when
looking at larger properties, those over several thousand
acres or those in mountainous regions, it can take the
better part of a day to adequately evaluate a single
property. Actual expenses are normally incurred for
meals, hotels and gasoline, with a surcharge for mileage
of $.35 per kilometer
Naturally, it is most desirable that
the client have a clear idea of what size, price range,
type of land and climate he or she is looking for, prior
to embarking on a trip to view properties in Argentina.
To this end, we like to educate our clients as much
as possible before they arrive in Argentina to eliminate
properties that do not present as serious contenders
in meeting their investment parameters. Prior to your
trip, we will be in constant correspondence, by both
email and by telephone, sending all available pertinent
information on properties, with pictures and data, for
you to review. By the time of your arrival, we will
ultimately be focused only on those properties that
you have chosen as nearest to your investment parameters,
allowing us to use your time in Argentina most efficiently
in viewing these properties.
